RETURNS & EXCHANGES

You have 30 calendar days to return or exchange an item from the date the order ships. To be eligible, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If the item is no longer a product we sell, we will exchange the item for a comparable product or issue a full refund excluding shipping charges. If the item purchased was shipped with free shipping, the exchanged item will be subject to additional shipping costs. We do not refund shipping charges.

All returns and exchanges must be submitted via the Returns & Exchanges Portal.  

REFUNDS

Returned items will be refunded via one of two options:

1. Refund to method of payment, minus shipping. A 5% restocking fee will apply. This is due to the credit card processing fee that we cannot recover. We appreciate your understanding and your support of a small business.
2. Issue a Store Credit equal to the total amount minus shipping of the order.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

Costume Houses, Productions, Theatre Companies, Costumers, Production Companies, or purchases for a business are only eligible for store credit. 

All returns must be submitted via the Returns & Exchanges Portal.  

CIRCUMVENTING EXCHANGE POLICY 

If an additional order is placed to circumvent the exchange policy, the returned item will be refunded via store credit. 

DAMAGED ITEMS

If the item received was damaged from shipping, contact us immediately (no later than 3 days). In cases of damaged items PLEASE KEEP ALL PACKAGING. If the item is defective by means of manufacture, contact us within 30 days to initiate an exchange of that item. 

All damaged items must be submitted via the Returns & Exchanges Portal after contacting us at (765) 481-2662 or orders@samsonhistorical.com   

NON RETURNABLE ITEMS

Items sold during the scratch & dent sale, discounted items, clearance items, socks, undergarments, food, and cosmetics.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders canceled prior to being fulfilled are subject to a 10% processing fee. This is due to the credit card processing fee that we cannot recover. We appreciate your understanding and your support of a small business. Orders cannot be canceled after the order has been fulfilled. 

FABRIC BY THE YARD POLICY

Sold by the Yard
Our fabric is sold by the yard, and your total yardage will be cut as one continuous length.

Color
We do our best to photograph each fabric accurately, but colors may appear differently depending on your screen settings.

Returns
Because fabric is cut to order, it cannot be returned or exchanged. All sales are final.

MADE TO ORDER GARMENT POLICY

At Samson Historical, all Made-to-Order garments are custom-crafted based on the exact measurements provided by the customer. Due to the personalized nature of these garments, it is critical that customers ensure their measurements are accurate at the time of order.

Please note the following terms:

  •  Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable:

Made-to-Order garments cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded if they do not fit. These items are tailored specifically to the measurements submitted by the customer, and we are unable to resell or modify them for other use.

  •  Measurement Responsibility:

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide precise and accurate measurements. We recommend having your measurements taken by a professional tailor or seamstress to ensure accuracy. In the event that the provided measurements are incorrect, Samson Historical cannot be held responsible for any resulting fit issues.

  •  Defect Resolution:

If a Made-to-Order garment is found to have a defect in material or craftsmanship, we will repair or replace the item, at our sole discretion. This determination will be made based on the nature of the defect and the condition of the garment upon return. Defects must be reported within 7 days of receiving the item.

  •  Order Confirmation:

By placing a Made-to-Order garment order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms. Any adjustments or alterations needed after receiving the garment due to incorrect measurements will be the responsibility of the customer.
