With a similar oval shape to our standard buckle, the cut metal look is one found throughout the longevity of the buckle shoe style. Cut metal was a less expensive way for the average person to have a fancier-looking buckle without significant added expense.
You will receive a pair (two). The buckles measure 2-1/4 inches long, 2 inches high, and will accommodate a leather or fabric strap (latchet) width of 1-5/16 inches (just slightly over 1-1/4"). They are easily attached and removed to accommodate shoes made by all different makers.
